Always a good stay!

A Very Good Guest House Experience
Very clean and welcoming and value for money . The £10 breakfast is the best meal one could possibly have . Friendly staff and very nice restaurant .Very convenient for all the amenities of Cromer . Clean comfortable rooms friendly staff

Clean, comfy hotel
What a beautiful,clean hotel, really comfy beds and the staff were all lovely. Booked to visit my son and spend the weekend with him and his girlfriend before Christmas. Great guest house
Lovely sea view room on first floor. Comfortable bed and pillows, tea and coffee and even a fridge. Complimentary water. Excelent breakfast, all cooked fresh. Very Faded Guest House
If ever there was grandeur to this place it has seriously faded. The room was adequate but very, very tired. Strange layout, noise from hallway, very little wardrobe space. We didn’t eat there as breakfast was extra and no other dining available. The Cliftonville next door does an excellent choice for evening meals and has a bar! Wonderful stay
What a great guest house! A last minute booking to the coast, and a wonderful find! Sandcliffe is in an amazing location on Cromer seafront, with clean, comfortable rooms. Great Breakfast and staff. What a Gem.
As a seasoned traveller to U.K. Europe and the US, I love it when I find one of the Gems. Don’t be put off by slightly tired fascard. Underneath is a comfortable bedroom, I had a room on the top floor overlooking the sea. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the piste de resistance, the breakfast. Lovely 3 night stay

Pleasantly surprised and already rebooked
We booked a weekend break Wednesday for the Friday of the same week. As it was a last minute booking we had no choice of rooms, so had to have a cosy double, which is located on the first floor at the back of the property. We arrived an hour earlier than our check-in time as was unsure of the location as had never been to Cromer before. We managed to get parked at the front of the property. We were told our room was ready and we could check-in early which was a bonus. When we opened the door the first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the room. The room contained a bed, wardrobe (with hangers), a small shelved unit, 2 bedside drawer units each with a bedside lamp, and 2 comfortable high backed chairs. There was also a hairdryer, a kettle, cups, glasses, spoons and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. Also a flat screen tv on the wall. There was a sliding door which had a step up into the en-suite. The step was a little high for me (as I'm only 5ft 2"), but there is a hand grip handle to help get up and down. The en-suite itself had shower, toilet and sink. There were complimentary individual soaps, also pump units containing hand soap and shower gel/shampoo too. There was even paper bags for sanitary product disposal. There was a very large, fluffy towel each, hand towel and floor mat. Also plenty of plug sockets and USB charging points. A double socket with 2 USB ports on the wall above shelving. A double socket either side of the bed which was extremely helpful to us as my husband has a sleep apnea machine that needs to be plugged in at the side of the bed. Both bedside lamps has 2 integral USB ports too. Our first night was very comfortable and relaxing. When we went downstairs to the dining area in the morning we was once again pleasantly surprised. All tables were numbered the same as the room, so all guests had their own place to sit. We looked through the breakfast menu and I was very impressed. I have a wheat intolerance so struggle with eating out. The choices of breakfast fully catered for gluten free. There were fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals (Inc gluten free choice), full cooked breakfast, choice of eggs (fried, scrambled, poached), choice of breads inc gluten free. Also tea, coffee, fruit juices. All was lovely and freshly cooked, not greasy and generous amounts. There was also a choice of breakfast condiments inc jam, marmalade, peanut butter, marmite etc. Every member of staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and interacted with us at some point during our stay. After being out on our first day all day we got back to our room to find that the staff had been in and replenished tea, coffee etc, and emptied the bins. We did not realise that daily housekeeping was included. We were so impressed that before we left after our 3 night stay we booked again for next year.
